Great TGP gallery making tools

basic tgp gallery

Here’s what I use to help make a TGP gallery after downloading a content set from an adult affiliate program and choosing the best pictures to use.

The first thing I do is run a small perl script to rename the jpg images 01.jpg to xx.jpg. You could also rename the images manually instead of using a script. This allows me to copy in an existing template that already references 01.jpg to xx.jpg and I won’t have to change any code. I can run perl scripts on my PC with Active Perl (free).

Next I copy an existing gallery template for that sponsor into that folder, or I can create a new one. When I do, I use the Arles Image Web Page Creator ($$$) to batch create the thumbnails and resize the images in seconds. If you want a free gallery creator tool you can try Thumb Studio Free or Photo on Web.

notetab lightI edit the gallery code with Notetab Light, a free Notepad replacement, feature-rich text editor, and HTML editor. If I need help with my sales text, I use Word Web. CTRL-right clicking a word will bring up a quick window with the definition, spellings, and synonyms. I don’t want to be using ‘hot’ and ‘sexy’ in my descriptions all the time…

Irfan ViewIf I need to quickly view/resize/crop any image I prefer Irfanview, a very fast, small, compact and free graphic viewer.

Now my TGP gallery is ready to upload to my web server. I use Ipswitch WS_FTP ($$$) but there are other free ftp programs you could use with a quick web search.

Using these tools it takes me literally a minute to build a TGP gallery using an existing template. If I’m building a new TGP gallery template it might take me 5-30 minutes depending on the design. I still build using a text editor, my browser, and hitting the F5 (reload) key many times.
